The Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity in partnership with the Rappahannock Area Health District of the Virginia Department of Health is proud to announce a free webinar to aspiring entrepreneurs who want to learn the ABCs of starting a business.
This webinar will discuss the business legal formation, the necessary filings at the state and local levels, creating a business plan, sales and marketing, and funding your startup.
All the things a new business owner needs to know.
SPEAKER: Cindy Butler, Director of the Women’s Business Center of Northern Virginia at the Community Business Partnership.
NOTE: This workshop will be presented via Google Meet.
No fee. Advance registration is required.
The Women’s Business Center is funded at the Community Business Partnership through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Cancellation Policy
- Participants whose checks are returned for insufficient funds will be charged a $35 fee.
- Participants who have paid for a class and do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance, will forfeit their entire payment.
- Participants wishing to receive a refund and have canceled in a timely manner will be charged a 10% administrative fee.
