Do I Qualify for Gov’t Contracts?

Leveraging U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Certifications

Did you know the U.S. government is the largest, single purchaser of goods and services in the world?

During this presentation, Supervisory Business Opportunity Specialist Candice Miles will cover the essential elements of the SBA’s various certifications that are recognized by federal governmental agencies in the procurement process.

This workshop will focus on the following designations: 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and HUBZone. The presentation will discuss the basic eligibility requirements of each of these certification programs, in addition to best practices and marketing strategies to help optimize each designation when competing for government contracts.
