Sheila Dixon is the new Outreach Coordinator at our Business Finance Center. Sheila will be working part time to introduce the BFC’s alternative loan products to minority entrepreneurs. Sheila also serves as Executive Director of the Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce.

Tiehdi Togba is the CBP’s new Financial Specialist. Tiehdi brings a wealth of knowledge in financial, budget and Federal grants management with over 10 years of experience. Tiehdi received the SBA’s State Star Award in 2018 and 2019 from the DC Small Business Development Center.

With over ten years of Strategic Development, Business Planning, Marketing, and Social Media experience, Vaswani has been a Business Owner, Business Advisor, and Business Instructor.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Vijay obtained a dual Master’s Degree in Public Policy: International Relations and American Politics from Pepperdine University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing from California State University Northridge.

As a social advocate, he started and runs PVNN Inc., a 501C3 all-digital nonprofit news media. As a thought leader, he has worked with educational institutions, young leaders, and veterans to help inform, inspire, and impact social change.

From his background and experience, Vijay became a Business Instructor and Advisor, working with SBDC’s, colleges, and universities. There, he taught and created the course-curriculum for over twenty-one different business workshops and webinars. From conception to creation to capitalization of their business, Vijay has advised over a thousand students and entrepreneurs.

Coming from the SBDC family in Southern California, Vijay joins the SBDC at CBP with great excitement to help the small business community grow and thrive.
