Crystal Yauch

Crystal J. Yauch is a Senior Proposal Manager at Agile Defense, Inc., where she has won CONUS and OCONUS work worth $335M in total contract value over just 3 years. Crystal’s passion for projects and proposals has helped her career flourish over 20 years in the corporate world at small, mid-size, and large companies (e.g., Copper River IT, Management Concepts, Harris Corporation, AOL Time Warner) and within the federal government/public domain (State Department at the American Embassy in Tokyo).

Crystal is an expert at responding to government solicitations and specializes in capture development through proposal submission—and beyond to project management (as a Project Manager for USAID and FAA, her execution was consistently rated as Exceptional). She has direct experience in building small businesses by: acquiring GWACs/IDIQs; developing ISO procedures to help improve maturity levels through repeatable processes; winning competitive and non-competitive proposals and task order proposals; and, delivering positive experiences for customers.

She has received multiple awards and certificates of recognition for her outstanding efforts. Crystal is a graduate of George Mason University with a B.A. in Communication; she is also ITIL V3 certified and accredited by APMP.

She is an avid horsewoman and responsible pet owner and enjoys horseback riding and hiking in the Shenandoah. She also lives with Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome, degenerative TFCC tears, and has a chronic neurological disability, for which she has a loving service dog named Charles Xavier. To give back to the government contracting community, she currently mentors and trains small businesses pro bono at the Community Business Partnership in Springfield, VA.
