Jody Keenan is State Director, Virginia Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) Network and Senior Director, Business Advisory Services Mason Enterprise Center hosted by George Mason University. Jody has led the Virginia SBDC since 2003. In this role, she is the PI for the SBA cooperative agreement for the SBDC network and several other grants that support small business assistance.  She has over 30 years of experience in economic development and developing and leading small business assistance programs at the local and state level.

Mason Enterprise is an organization of regional incubators, Office of Technology Transfer, entrepreneurship programming and statewide business assistance programs including APEX, WBC of Northern Virginia and Community Business Partnership. The programs assist entrepreneurs and small business owners with business and strategic planning, government contracting, access to capital, marketing, commercialization and innovation, international trade, and incubation.

The Virginia SBDC network, a program of the Mason Enterprise, is the most extensive business development program in the Commonwealth providing business advising, mentoring, training and connections to other useful resources to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs.  The SBDC network is a partnership between the U.S. Small Business Administration, George Mason University-Mason Enterprise Center and 13 other organizations, including institutions of higher education, chambers of commerce, and economic development organizations across Virginia.
