Dr. Hope Murphy

Small Business Counselor, Women's Business Center

Dr. Hope Murphy is a senior level executive wh0 has more than 15 years of experience training and developing in-person and remote teams, preparing organizations for compliance towards accreditation, developing and managing staff, and helping organizations to rebuild.

Hope has a Master of Business Administration from Colorado Christian University and a Doctorate from Regent University. She consults with organizations to provide leadership support, compliance training, strategic planning, and opportunity analysis.

Hope’s passion for helping people to reach their highest potential was recognized when she was awarded the Mayoral Proclamation designating, April 3rd as Hope H. Handy Day (Dr. Murphy’s maiden name) in the District of Columbia.

Hope began at the Community Business Partnership more than 12 years ago as a client. She is currently building a small business and is a small business counselor for the Women’s Business Center; specializing in technical assistance for small business owners to include veteran entrepreneurs.

She and her family live in Stafford, Virginia.
