Robert P. “Bob” Rogers, Jr. instructs small businesses on government contracting and marketing. Previously, Robers was the President of Chesapeake Government Health Services, a healthcare staffing company headquartered in Vienna, VA. His company employed 200 healthcare workers across CONUS and OCONUS military hospitals and clinics. During his 30-year tenure as President, INC Magazine recognized Chesapeake as one of its 500 fastest-growing companies in America. Similarly, Virginia Business Magazine recognized Chesapeake as one of its 50 fastest-growing companies.

Rogers is also internet marketing consultant with Chesapeake Digital Solutions, LLC.  He helps small businesses generate leads, increase visibility and develop their brand in the government market space.

Bob Rogers has been active in the Northern Virginia community for 40 years. He has served on the Board of the Northern Virginia Community College for 10 years, including two years as Chair. He has also served as Chairman of the Northern Virginia Workforce Investment Board; the Board of Directors of the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce; and two terms on the Board of Directors of Leadership Fairfax.  Rogers graduated from the US Air Force Academy and has a Master’s in Business Administration from the Olin School of Business, Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program.

Rogers holds a special place at CBP as he was a founding member of the Community Business Partnership, its first Board Chair, and currently serves as Chairman Emeritus.

Bob Rogers is married to Laurie Davis and has three children and five grandchildren.  He lives in McLean, Virginia.
