Entrepreneurship, Mentorship, Professorship, and Leadership – Vijay Vaswani is the Director of the SBDC at the Community Business Partnership.
With over ten years of Strategic Development, Business Planning, Marketing, and Social Media experience, he has been a Business Owner, Business Advisor, and Business Instructor.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Vaswani obtained a dual master’s degree in Public Policy: International Relations and American Politics from Pepperdine University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing from California State University Northridge.
As a social advocate, he started and runs PVNN Inc., a 501C3 all-digital nonprofit news media. As a Think-tank that does outreach, he works with educational institutions, young leaders, and veterans to help inform, inspire, and impact social change.
From his background and experience, Vaswani became a Business Instructor and Advisor, working with small business centers, colleges, and universities. There, he taught and created the course-curriculum for over twenty-one different business workshops and webinars.
From conception to creation to capitalization of their business, Vaswani has advised over a thousand students and entrepreneurs. Coming from the SBDC family in Southern California, Vaswani joins the SBDC at CBP with great excitement to help the small business community grow and thrive.
