Small Business Development Center


The Small Business Development Center at CBP provides professional business counseling, training and information resources to help grow and strengthen small and midsize businesses in the northern Virginia area.

SBDC staff and professional volunteers provide confidential assistance in the areas of start-up and strategic business planning, marketing, financial analysis, access to capital and other specialized services as requested.

To make sure that we provide you with the highest level of service, our center achieved national accreditation through a rigorous process designed by the Association of Small Business Development Centers.

Business Training & Counseling

The Small Business Development Center at CBP assists mature businesses (generally two year and older).

A Powerful Network

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at CBP is part of a national network of business counseling experts.  Under the direction of the U.S. Small Business Administration, there are over 1,000 SBDC offices nationwide and 27 offices in Virginia that are connected to provide you with the most up to date, quality information.

The SBDC at CBP is a vital member of the Virginia SBDC.
