Managing Director, Mason Enterprise Center (MEC) and State Director, Virginia Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) Network

The MEC is an organization of regional incubators and statewide business assistance programs assisting small businesses with business and strategic planning, government contracting, access to capital, marketing, commercialization, international trade, and incubation.

The Virginia SBDC network, a program of the MEC, is a statewide resource providing business advising and training to small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. The SBDC network is a partnership between the U.S. SBA, George Mason University and 15 premier institutions across Virginia.

Keenan represents George Mason University in several organizations including:

  • Association of Small Business Development Centers;
  • U.S. Department of Commerce, VA/DC District Export Council
  • Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Community Investment Council
  • Virginia Economic Developers Association, Board of Directors
  • Virginia Community Capital, Community Advocates Council
  • University Based Economic Developers

Jodi Keenan graduated from the College of William and Mary and LaSalle University.
