Rafael A. Martinez, CTP, is Senior Vice President of Lending with Virginia Partners Bank. Rafael brings more than ten years of industry experience in commercial and nonprofit treasury management and lending. Rafael is a Certified Treasury Professional, the highest designation for financial professionals in the risk management and capital preservation field. He has been on the Board of various local organizations, including the Washington Metropolitan Chapter Community Association Institute (WMCCAI) and the Stroke Comeback Center, and is currently the Treasurer of the Community Business Partnership. He earned a B.A. in Economics at George Mason University and is a U.S. Army veteran.
