Cindy Butler

Prior to joining CBP, Cindy was the Director of the Washington Women’s Business Center in Seattle, WA. In this capacity, she trained thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs and counseled over 600 clients, assisting many in opening businesses ranging from art to a French bakery to scooter rentals.  She has served as Executive Director of two nonprofit organizations, and co-founded one of these organizations to work with women business owners in villages in Ghana and Kenya.

Butler has also owned and managed a meeting and events planning consulting firm in Washington, DC. The daughter and grand-daughter of business owners, she is entrepreneurial to the core.

She has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and a Master’s degree in International Business from Seattle University.

Following her return from 15 years in Seattle, Butler settled in Alexandria, VA. She is an animal lover and compulsive volunteer.
